Tailgates, Cookouts And Beyond!

September means many things for our family. One of those things is football! While we are not a loyal fan to one team per say, my husband does root for the Bulldogs and I am faithful to our local high school. I do love how this sport brings together friends and great food. It's a great excuse to get others together and bring a potluck. There is one thing that always remains the same and that is cooking out. Our favorite cook out food is definitely the original cheeseburger. Really, you can't get much more all American than that!

One way we like to put a fun spin on our cheeseburger and make it just a little extra special is by adding A.1. Original Sauce to it. You don't need to use a lot but this simple addition can take the so-so and make it extraordinary! Toss in a little vegetable oil to keep it from sticking and season to taste and you are ready to go.

Did you know that September 18th is National Cheeseburger day? What a great excuse to get your friends and family together and come up with your best cheeseburger creation. A great idea would be to set up a "Build Your Own Cheeseburger Bar". Provide all the toppings you can think of and let people go crazy making their perfect combo. Some ingredients to include: tomatoes, onions, lettuce, salsa, feta cheese, blue cheese, bacon, and pineapple pieces. You can also include a wide selection of buns so that they can find the perfect match for their taste buds.

For some folks, a burger isn't a burger without melted cheese on it. And for others, that cheeseburger needs just one more thing: A.1. Original Sauce.

Total Time 20min.
