Grilling Corn on the Cob

  • When grilling corn on the cob, choose ears with soft, bright-green, snugly fitting husks and moist, golden-brown silk.
  • When grilling corn on the cob, don’t tear back the husks until ready to cook as this could dry out the corn before grilling.
  • When grilling corn on the cob, cook the ears the same day as you purchase them to ensure freshness.
  • Corn can be grilled either in the husks or with the husks removed.
  • When grilling corn on the cob in their husks, remove the silk completely before re-wrapping the corn ears in their husks. Then, soak the corn in water for 10 min. before placing it on the grill.
  • To grill shucked corn, brush the ears with oil before grilling the corn on the cob. Or, add flavor by brushing the ears with KRAFT Italian Dressing or KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil before grilling.
  • For a low-maintenance approach, remove husks and silk from the corn, rinse, then wrap ears in foil. After grilling, the foil will keep the corn warm until ready to serve.
  • Grill corn on medium-high heat 8 to 10 min. or until tender if the husks are removed. Or, grill 15 to 20 min. if the husks are left on.
