Make Dessert With A Slow Cooker!

My favorite season of the year is slowly approaching and I love all of the food options that come along with it! Fall is definitely my favorite! Working with KRAFT this year has been very exciting for me and my family to share some of our favorite recipes that are easy, delicious and fun!

Today I am sharing a recipe inspired by a friend of mine, Stephanie, who always makes my day brighter at work. You know those people in your life that bring you surprises or help you out in unexpected ways when you need it the most? Well, that is who Stephanie is to me. She recently brought a delicious slow cooker cake for our entire department and I was immediately inspired to use the same concept by shaking up the ingredients. Because September is here and pumpkins will soon be filling our porches, coffee and bellies, I wanted to create a pumpkin inspired treat that would be easy enough for the kids to make.

Chocolate Pumpkin Slow Cooker Cake
Prep Time: 5 minutes • Cook Time: 3 hours, 5 minutes • Serves: 8-10

Ingredients
1 pkg. (3.9 oz.) Chocolate Fudge JELL-O Pudding Mix
1 box (15.25 oz.) chocolate cake mix
1 can (29 oz.) real pumpkin (un-spiced)
1 stick of butter, melted
Dash of cinnamon
COOL WHIP Whipped Topping (for garnish)
Cooking spray

Directions

SPRAY the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray.

SPREAD the pumpkin evenly on the bottom of the slow cooker.

MIX the JELL-O Pudding and cake mix together in a separate bowl.

SPREAD the JELL-O and cake mixture evenly over the pumpkin in the slow cooker and drizzle the melted butter over the top.

SPRINKLE a dash of cinnamon across the top.

COOK on high for 3 hours. Serve with COOL WHIP on top and enjoy!

I hope you enjoy this quick and easy treat that will have your home filled with the aroma of fall and still have enough time left for apple picking!

Cake in a slow cooker? Don't knock it 'til you've tried it. This chocolate-pumpkin version is rich and best served warm with a dollop of whipped topping.

Total Time 3hr. 10min.
