Easy Cheesy Sausage Biscuits

what you need
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cheddar cheese soup, condensed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 3 cups baking mix
  • 1 lb. bulk sausage (any type), cooked, drained and crumbled
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray muffin tins with cooking spray. Combine soup, water, garlic and onion powders, mixing well.

In a large bowl, add baking mix, soup mixture, and cooked sausage, stirring to combine (mixture will be quite thick).

Spoon into muffin tins and bake for 10-15 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean. Serve either warm or at room temperature.
Notes
2 Tbsp. chopped jalapenos may be added for extra spice.

May be frozen in a freezer bag for 1 month and then reheated in the microwave.

Rated  by cowahr on 10/6/2009 Great idea! I followed the recipe the first time. Then tried with cream of mushroom soup and added a small can of sliced mushrooms to the sausage. Yum!
