Creamy Spinach Cheese Dip

what you need
  • 1 bag (10 oz.) frozen spinach
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, minced
  • 1 large ripe tomato
  • 1 block (16 oz.) Velveeta Cheese
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • Chili powder to taste
make it
Thaw spinach and squeeze dry. Dice onion. Mince jalapeno. Dice tomato. Cube Velveeta.

Place Velveeta Cheese, cheddar cheese soup, onion, jalapeno, spinach, and tomato into a crock-pot.

Turn crock-pot on high, stir frequently until melted. Add chili powder and turn crock-pot to low. Stir occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips.
This recipe reheats well the next day, but does not freeze. Also good served with soft flour tortillas.
