The Best Creamy Mac-N-Cheese Ever!

Makes: 4 good sized servings Total Time: 35 min

what you need
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 and 1/2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup Velveeta Cheese (about 3 good slices)
make it
Cook macaroni according to directions; drain.

In a separate sauce pan, melt on low heat, butter and flour. Stir until it becomes a smooth paste, stirring constantly. Slowly add milk and salt and pepper. Cook until thickened. Add Velveeta and cook until cheese is melted.

Pour cheese sauce over noodles and mix well.
Notes
This is a great bowl of comfort to curl up with on cold nights. Also a favorite with the kids!
