Venison Steaks

what you need
  • 6 medium venison steaks
  • Meat tenderizer (non-flavored)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup steak marinade
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 drops Louisiana hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 dash ground red pepper
  • 1 dash paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
make it
Soak venison steaks in cold water in the fridge for at least 8 hours, changing water several times if possible.

Wash each steak and sprinkle with meat tenderizer. Puncture repeatedly with a fork. Lay steaks in a large casserole dish.

Mix remaining ingredients (except for fruit) and pour over steaks. Place apple and orange slices on top.

Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
