what you need
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 cup Coca-Cola
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups Kraft Jet-Puffed Marshmallows
  • For frosting:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 6 Tablespoons Coca-Cola
  • 1 pound box powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
make it
Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Combine flour and sugar in bowl. In saucepan, melt butter, add cocoa and Coca-Cola; heat until just boiling. Cool slightly. Pour over flour and sugar. Stir until blended.

Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk and gradually add to flour mixture, along with eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in marshmallows.

Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" baking pan. This will be a thin batter and marshmallows will come to the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Ice while hot.

For frosting; combine butter, cocoa and Coca-Cola in saucepan. Heat to boiling. Pour over powdered sugar in mixer bowl. Beat until smooth. Add vanilla, stir in pecans and pour over hot cake.
This is a very rich and moist cake. Serve anytime or any occasion and enjoy!
