Makes: 10 Pizza Rolls Total Time: 20 min
Category: Appetizers Sub Category: Other Hot Appetizers

what you need
  • 1 tube buttermilk biscuits
  • Pizza sauce
  • Garlic powder
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Any pizza toppings (ex: pepperoni; mushroom; olives; peppers, etc.)
  • Parsley flakes
make it
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Flatten each biscuit. Place a small teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each biscuit. Sprinkle some garlic powder & parmesan cheese over the sauce. Chop up toppings & place on top. Add a small amount of mozzarella cheese.

Fold up the sides of each biscuit & pinch the tops together. Add just a few strands of shredded mozzarella cheese to the top of each biscuit & sprinkle with a little bit of parsley flakes.

Place the biscuits on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the bottoms of the biscuits are golden brown.
Do not flatten the biscuits too much because the filling might burst out. Also, make sure to put enough sauce & toppings in the biscuit. Otherwise, NOT enough filling makes it too much biscuit & TOO MUCH filling makes it hard to fold.

Rated  by Princess61881 on 8/2/2004 This was really easy & fun to make with kids. The store bought pizza rolls are too expensive & have to pick what is already made. These gave me & the kids exactly what we wanted. Also, this was really easy to whip up for an after work snack or even a quick dinner.
