what you need
- 1 tablespoon light oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped shallots
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
- 1 lb. ground chicken
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon horseradish
make it
In a small non-stick frying pan, under medium heat, pour in the oil, put in the shallots, garlic and mushrooms cook till soft, cool.
In a mixing bowl put in chicken, salt and pepper, egg, bread crumbs, horseradish and contents of cooled veggies, mix well.
Form 4 patties, and put on BBQ. Cook 10-12 minutes total, turning once, or to your taste buds. Just before removing from the BBQ, add cheese slice on top.
