Makes: 6 servings Total Time: 2 hr 30 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Beef Entrees

what you need
  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup bread crumbs (if too moist, you can add more to your liking)
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 2 cups Kraft Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato soup mixed with 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
make it
Mix together ground chuck, tomato sauce, egg, onion, bread crumbs, and green pepper. Mix well. Add the Kraft Velveeta cheese and mix well.

Form into a meatloaf shape and put in roasting pan, covered. Add the tomato soup around the meatloaf.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 2 hours.
Notes
My family never liked meatloaf until I came across this recipe. I've passed it on to my children and my grandchildren love it! The cheese comes out in the meatloaf and in the tomato soup juice. If you like a more cheesy flavor, you can always add more cheese. Enjoy!
