  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • Filling:
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon softened butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
make it
Crust: Blend butter and cream cheese. Stir in flour. Roll into one inch balls. Press into miniature muffin tins. Covering bottom and sides. Chill for about 10 minutes

Filling: Beat sugar, egg, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Pour in pecans and stir. Fill crust in muffin pans about 2/3 full.

Bake at 325 degrees F about 30 minutes.
I use a wood presser just for the small pans. It spreads it all over pans just right, Or you can use your hands.

This is a great appetizer, or finger food. Everyone loves it. I usually have to double the recipe.
