Strawberry Cake & Icing

what you need
  • 1 box Duncan Heinz white cake mix
  • 1 small box frozen strawberries
  • 2/3 cup Crisco Oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box Jell-O Strawberry Flavored Gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • Icing:
  • 1/2 box powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons Parkay margarine
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
make it
Beat (with mixer) cake mix, strawberries, oil, eggs, Jell-O and flour.

Pour in 2 regular size cake pans (floured & greased) Or a 9x13 cake pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F about 30-45 minutes. Insert toothpick to check if done.

Topping:
Beat with mixer: powdered sugar, margarine and strawberries. When cake is done, cool about 30 min. then pour icing over it.
Notes
This is a very moist cake. Icing will not be thick, and this will add to the richness of the cake. Lip smacking good!
