what you need
  • 1/2 cup creamed cottage cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded Kraft Mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
make it
PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees F. Spread cottage cheese in greased 9" pie plate. Cook ground beef; drain. Stir in 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, salt, and tomato paste; spoon over cottage cheese.

STIR milk, eggs and baking mix with fork until blended. Pour into plate.

BAKE 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 1 to 2 minutes or until melted.

Rated  by prayingwlove on 9/11/2006 This recipe seemed to be very bland. I think instead of using tomato paste use your fav jar of spaggeti sauce. I would also recommend using fresh onion and garlic when you brown your beef. I also think it would be tasty to add some fresh garlic and spices while makeing the crust. And if your a cheese lover like how we are top with some cheddar cheese and parm.
