what you need
- 5 Roma tomatoes
- 2-3 Tbsp. cilantro
- 1 small onion
- 1 can (15 oz.) stewed tomatoes
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
make it
Chop Roma tomatoes, cilantro, and onions. Place in large mixing bowl. Reserving liquid, roughly chop stewed tomatoes and place in the large mixing bowl.
Halve both jalapenos and garlic clove. Place in food processor. Add reserved stewed tomato juice to food processor. Blend well.
Pour contents in food processor to large mixing bowl. Cut lime in half and squeeze juice of both halves into bowl. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir gently and serve!
Notes
Use this salsa within 2 days of preparation.
