Karo Nut Pecan Pie

what you need
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoon Parkay margarine, melted
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
make it
Mix eggs, syrup, sugar & salt until well blended. Add vanilla and melted margarine.
After mixing all ingredients, pour in pecan pieces.

Pour all ingredients in unbaked pie crust.

Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven for about 45 min. or until pie still shakes a little when moved, or knife inserted comes out clean. Cool before cutting.
This is an old family recipe that is a hit whenever I take it anywhere.
