Hamburger-Potato Casserole

what you need
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 medium onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 5 medium potatoes
- Butter
- Milk
- Optional, sprinkle marble jack cheese on top
make it
Lightly brown hamburger and onion. Add salt and pepper. Add soup and paprika.
Pare and slice potatoes and place in bottom of buttered casserole. Cover with layer of meat mixture, then another of potatoes. Pour enough milk over until it shows around the edges of casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees F until potatoes are soft, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Optional: Sprinkle marble jack cheese on top about a half hour before done.
Notes
This is a delicious casserole and my family just loves it. They really like it with the cheese on top. This adds some extra flavor!!!!
