Easy & Yummy Peach Cobbler

what you need
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup boxed all-purpose baking mix
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 can (15-16 oz.) sliced peaches (including liquid)
make it
Melt margarine in small, shallow baking pan (approx. 7" x 11"). Set aside.

In small bowl, make a thin batter using the sugar, milk, baking mix, and salt. Mix the thin batter into the melted margarine. Gently spoon peaches and their liquid over top of batter.

Bake 1 hour in preheated 325 degrees F oven.
Notes
Especially good served warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
