East Peanut Butter Cookies

what you need
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Calumet Baking Powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar to sprinkle over baked cookies-right out of the oven
make it
Preheat oven to 325°F. With a wooden spoon mix peanut butter and sugar. Add egg. Sprinkle baking powder in mixture. Mix together well.
Shape into teaspoon sized balls. Using a fork, criss-cross a pattern onto cookies. Put into oven and bake 10 minutes.
After cookies have baked, lightly sprinkle with the 1/4 cup of granulated sugar-while the cookies are still hot. ENJOY!!!
*Do NOT remove cookies from cookie sheet until cookies have cooled completely.

My 3 year old daughter and I love to make these for daddy and big brother. They are easy and not too messy to make. People cannot believe how easy they really are!
