what you need
- 1 ready-made pizza dough
- 1 small can PLAIN tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. basil
- 2-3 cups cheese mixture (mozzarella, parmesan, and jack are my favs)
- Toppings of your choice and quantity
make it
Stretch dough over your pan. Evenly coat with 2/3 can of sauce (more if you'd like). Sprinkle with oregano and basil (DO NOT OMIT!)
Add cheese, almost covering the sauce and dough, and any toppings you might want to add.
Bake in the middle of your oven for times directed on your package. Slice and eat. Fantastic!
Notes
I use my broiler pan, lined with foil, and greased with olive oil. It never fails me.
I use Wal-Mart brand dough and sauce. It's really not a big deal. It's the spices that do it in, as well as the cheese, which should be brown and bubbly.
If your cheese doesn't brown, raise the rack next time. If your crust is soggy, you used too too much oil. Really simple.
