My Hash Brown Potato Casserole

what you need
  • 1 bag frozen hash browns (I use the shredded kind)
  • 1 container (16 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 10 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 regular size can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small diced onion (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x13 size pan with cooking spray.

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Then spread into the pan.

Bake in the oven for 1 hour.
My mom also likes to put a little bit of chives into the mixture. She also uses white ground pepper instead of the normal black ground pepper.
