what you need
- 12 ladyfingers
- 4 ounces Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
- 2 tablespoons coffee flavor liqueur (optional)
- 1 pint Breyers chocolate ice cream, softened
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
make it
Dip one side of ladyfinger into melted chocolate. Place chocolate-side up along the rim of a lightly greased 8 inch springform pan. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers to line the bottom of pan.
Stir in liqueur into remaining chocolate. Stir into ice cream. Fold whipped cream into ice cream. Spoon filling over ladyfingers.
Freeze till firm. To serve, run knife or spatula around edge of pan before removing side. Let cake stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Garnish with grated chocolate.
