what you need
  • Turnips
  • (possibly carrots, Mom was not sure)
  • Potatoes
  • Cabbage
  • Onions
  • Butter
  • Salt & pepper
make it
Boil all above vegatables together. However, start with the turnips and carrots first, as they will take longer to cook.

When everything is tender, mash, season with butter, salt, and pepper.
