what you need
  • Chocolate Crumb Crust:
  • 1/2 cup vanilla wafer crumbs (45 cookies)
  • 6 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 6 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 pkg. (8 oz. each) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 oz.) carnation sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
make it
Prepare crumb crust: Stir together vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and melted butter. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9 inch springform pan.

Preheat oven to 350°F. In bowl, stir together butter and cocoa until smooth; set aside. In large mixing bowl beat cream cheese, add cocoa mixture and beat well. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Pour into prepared crust.

Bake 1 hour and five minutes. Remove from oven to wire rack. Loosen cake from rim of pan. Cool to room temperature. Remove rim. Refrigerate. Top with whipped cream and/or cocoa and chocolate shavings.
You might like to try it with a teaspoon of coffee added to the cream cheese and cocoa mixture, or top it with fresh berries.
