Cream of Mushroom Slow Cooked Chicken

what you need
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom (or cream of chicken if preferred) soup
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (or as many as desired for family size)
make it
Mix soups and sour cream in crock-pot.

Submerge chicken breast in mix.

Cook on low for 8 hours. Can be served over rice or pasta/noodles.

Rated  by a cook on 2/10/2011 PLEASE DO NOT USE LIGHT SOUR CREAM IN THIS! It should have been mentioned on the recipe somewhere. It should say SPECIFICALLY: NO light sour cream! I followed the recipe exactly as written (only using light sour cream because nothing was specified) and my sauce came out curdled! It was horrible! All I can assume, is that using light sour cream was a mistake. A complete waste of a pound and a half of chicken.
