Super Chocolate Hot Chocolate

what you need
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1/2-3/4 cup sugar
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- *Optional- French Vanilla Cool Whip Whipped Topping OR Jet-Puffed Marshmallows

Pour milk into a small saucepan. Heat on medium heat, stir constantly with a wire whisk, adding all ingredients gradually, except vanilla extract. (Use the amount of sugar to make it sweet to your taste.) Keep stirring constantly until cocoa is very hot, but not boiling.
Remove from heat, add vanilla extract, stir, pour into mugs, and enjoy!!
Notes
This cocoa is excellent topped with French Vanilla Cool Whip whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon, or topped with Jet-Puffed marshmallows.
