Sweet' Sour Cabbage Salad

what you need
  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
make it
In food processor, with large course blade, or chop, cabbage and carrots. Set aside.

In same food processor, add sugar, vinegar, salt, ground mustard and med. onion. Process until smooth. Add oil slowly while processing. Add celery seed.

Toss dressing with cabbage carrot mixture. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight. Serve with a slotted spoon.
Delicious any time of year. Goes well with any type of meat entree. Will last in the refrigerator for a week. But you probably won't have any left for that long.
