BBQ Grilled Chicken Kabobs

what you need
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces
- 6 cups assorted cut-up vegetables (bell peppers, mushrooms, onions and zucchini)
- 1 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
make it
PREHEAT grill to medium heat. Arrange chicken and vegetables alternately on 8 skewers.
GRILL kabobs 10 to 15 min. or until chicken is cooked through (170°F), turning after 8 min. and brushing frequently with the 1/2 cup of the barbecue sauce.
SERVE with the remaining 1/2 cup barbecue sauce.
Notes
Use Your Broiler
Assemble kabobs as directed; place on rack of broiler pan. Broil, 5 to 7 inches from heat, 10 to 15 min. or until chicken is cooked through, turning after 8 min. and brushing frequently with 1/2 cup of the barbecue sauce. Serve with the remaining 1/2 cup barbecue sauce as directed.
Great Substitute
Substitute 1 pkg. (14 oz.) LOUIS RICH Turkey Smoked Sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces, for the chicken. Grill 18 min. or until turkey sausage is heated through and vegetables are crisp-tender, turning frequently and brushing with 1/2 cup of the barbecue sauce during the last 2 min. of the grilling time. Serve with the remaining 1/2 cup barbecue sauce.
