Easy Creamy Italian Style Chicken

what you need
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Philadelphia Cream Cheese 1/3 Less Fat, softened
  • 1/2 cup Kraft House Italian Dressing
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms, drained (optional)
  • 1 tsp. dry dill weed
  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, dressing, soup, mushrooms (if using) and dill weed.

Rinse off chicken, pat dry and place in a 13x9-inch pan. Cover chicken with sauce.

Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes. Stir sauce after removing from oven. Serve over hot egg noodles.
Notes
If using chicken tenderloins, bake for 30-35 minutes.

Rated  by carolynlf1 on 8/10/2006 I thought this was good. My husband didn't like it but I did. It really does have a differnt flavor to it. My husband said the dressing makes the sauce a little sour. I think I will make this again with less dressing.
