Oatmeal Pecan Pie

what you need
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup dark-colored corn syrup
  • 2/3 cup regular rolled oats
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • 1 ready made pie crust
make it
In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat; stir in sugar, corn syrup, oats, eggs and vanilla.

Pour filling into unbaked pastry shell. Top with pecans.

Bake at 325 for 45 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Top each serving with whipped cream.
