Curry Pita Chips

what you need
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 3 whole wheat or regular pita bread rounds
make it
Stir together olive oil, curry powder, cumin and red pepper. Split pita bread rounds in half horizontally. Brush both sides of each cut round with oil mixture. Stack rounds, cut stack into 8 wedges.

On a large baking sheet place half of the wedges in a single layer.

Bake in a 350°F oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp. Repeat with remaining wedges. Store in an airtight container up to 1 week.
