Breakfast Sausage Casserole

what you need
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 tsp. powdered mustard
  • 2 1/2 cups seasoned croutons
  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage, browned and drained
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
make it
Mix eggs, milk and mustard, set aside. Place croutons in a greased 9x13 pan. Cover with a layer of sausage, then cheese, then sausage, then cheese. Pour egg mixture over. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Next morning:
Mix the soup and milk, pour over egg/sausage mixture.

Bake uncovered at 350 degress for 45-60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
