what you need
- 12-ounce fettuccine
- 1 pound asparagus, cut bite-size
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- 1 cup vodka sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Dash of pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley

make it
Boil fettuccine as package directs, adding asparagus, 5 minutes before pasta will be done and reserving 1 cup cooking water before draining.
Meanwhile heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion; saute 5 minutes until soft. Add tomatoes, vodka sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook 1 minute or until tomatoes soften.
Toss with drained pasta and asparagus, parsley and reserved cooking water as needed. Serve with grated parmesan.
