Quick Mixed Bean Soup

what you need
  • 2 cans chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lb. bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup broken angel hair pasta (1-2 inch lengths)
  • 1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz.) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
make it
Place broth and water in large stew pot and heat.

Add frozen vegetables and stewed tomatoes, bring to boil and add pasta. Add drained beans and stir well. Add Italian seasoning and garlic powder, cook until pasta is tender.

Reduce heat and add parmesan.
