what you need
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 2 skinless boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/2- pounds), cooked and cubed
  • 1 1/3 cups Kraft White Minute Rice®
  • 1 can (3 1/2 ounce) French fried onions

1. Combine soups, water and cooked chicken, mix well.

2. Add uncooked Minute Rice® and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Place French fried onions on top of mixture and simmer 10 minutes more.
To prepare the cooked chicken breast halves, place in a skillet with enough water to just cover. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Cut to test. Drain and cut into cubes. I usually do this the day before, then refrigerate.
