what you need
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can French green beans, drained
  • 1 can small green peas, drained
  • 3 or 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 oz jar of pimentos
  • Salt & pepper to taste
make it
Dissolve sugar in oil and vinegar before boiling. Boil 5 minutes - set aside to cool.

Drain corn, green beans and green peas. Add onion, celery, bell pepper, pimentos, salt & pepper to taste.

Pour cooled vinegar liquid over vegetables. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Drain before serving.
