Chocolaty Pecan Pie

what you need
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Uncooked 9" pie crust
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup dark or light Karo syrup
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup Planter Pecan Halves
  • Cool Whip
make it
Sprinkle chips in bottom of crust and freeze for 10 minutes.

With wire whisk, beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar and salt until blended. Beat in margarine. Pour over chips in crust. Arrange pecan halves on top.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 50-55 minutes or until set. Top with Cool Whip.
