Makes: 16 servings Total Time: 2 hr 45 min
Category: Desserts Sub Category: Cakes

what you need
  • 1 box super moist white cake mix (prepared as directed on box)
  • 2 candy canes
  • 2 ice cream cones, plain tip
  • 1 almond bark or white chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup rich creamy vanilla frosting
  • 2 and 2/3 cups coconut
  • 5 black gumdrops, 1 orange gumdrop and 7 small black gumdrops
  • 1 roll Fruit By The Foot Chewy Fruit (red color)
  • 2 Oreo Cookies
  • 1 dark licorice
  • 2 tall pretzels
make it
Preheat oven to 350°F. and follow instructions on the back of each cake mix box, then put into oven.

Cover large tray or piece of cardboard (18x10) with aluminum foil. Use the melted almond bark to attach the candy canes to the ice cream cones to make ice skates. Let the chocolate dry. Put one cake in front of the other (touching) on tray and cover them with frosting and put on coconut (be careful so coconut will stick on frosting).

Use the gumdrops- black for the eyes and buttons, orange for the nose, the small ones for the mouth and the fruit by the foot for the scarf. Use the Oreo Cookies for the ears and the licorice for the string holding the earmuffs. Lastly the pretzels for the arms and cones for feet with ice skates.
My picture is different but be creative in what you will add so your kids have fun helping you make your snowman.
