what you need
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
make it
1. In a med. saucepan, melt the cream cheese with the milk over medium-low heat.

2. Add the garlic powder, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce; combine. Stir in blue cheese. Let cool. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate. The dip can be made a day ahead.

3. To serve the dip, separate it into a couple of small bowls or ramekins and spread them around the table.
Notes
I would eat it right away.

Rated  by kimmyr7 on 12/24/2008 My hubby and I LOVE blue cheese so I looked for an easy appetizer to make. This recipe rocks!!! The flavor is awesome, and it is even excellent with skim milk and fat free cream cheese. Good dipped with anything. Thanks so much for sharing!
