Taco Soup (Weight Watchers Version)

what you need
  • 1 lb. ground turkey or ground sirloin, browned and drained
  • 1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can beans (pinto, kidney, your favorite)
  • 1 can chile hot beans
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (Mexican style)
  • 1 can Ro*Tel
make it
Mix meat and seasoning mixes.

Then add remaining ingredients, WITHOUT draining the cans!

Simmer 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips!
This is a wonderful soup! It tastes a lot like chili! I serve mine with a dollop of sour cream and some cheese! For those of you on Weight Watchers, a one cup serving of this soup is 2 points!

Rated  by GrammiJan on 2/23/2011 Very good & different from the "good ole stand-by" WW recipe. Delicious in the cold weather as is now, but enjoyable any time of year, make it you won't be dissapointed.
