what you need
  • Steaks, thinly sliced (about 4-6 pieces, about 5-6 inches long)
  • 1 cup instant rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • peas or tomatoes (optional)
  • 1 tbs butter
make it
Bring one cup water to boil. Add rice and cover until most of the water is gone.

Add cheese and/or vegetable and mix well. Sprinkle with pepper and salt

Meanwhile melt butter in a frying pan and sprinkle pepper and salt on steaks.

When most of the cheese is melted in the rice. Spoon mixture onto a steak strip. Roll tightly and put in pan. Do the same for all pieces. COVER and cook for approx. 10 minutes until well cooked or less for more rare steak.

Serve with a green vegetable and any extra rice. Can also be used as an appetizer by serving each on a lettuce leaf
