Rice Crispy Treats

what you need
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 80 large marshmallows
  • 10 cups crispy rice cereal
make it
MELT margarine in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in marshmallows. Continue stirring until all of the marshmallows are melted into a creamy mixture. Fold in cereal.

SPREAD out in a 9x13 pan.

LET SIT for 45 minutes to allow for easy cutting.
Use your hands to spread the mixture in a pan, but be sure to wet them with cold water first to minimize sticking.

These will be the best rice crispy treats you have ever had! They are perfectly gooey and stay that way for days!

Rated  by dawnfay83 on 9/12/2008 Great recipe! They really do stay gooey for days! :0) For a little twist I used my favorite cereal...Fruity Pebbles. It makes it very colorful and fun. (you could also use cocoa pebbles for the chocolate lovers)
