After-School Banana Smoothie

what you need
  • 2-3 bananas
  • 3 cups skim milk (or less for more thickness)
  • 1 container (4 oz.) banana or chocolate flavored yogurt
  • 1 squirt Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional)
make it
Have your kids wash their hands and break bananas into chunks and put in blender. Pour in milk and yogurt. Squirt in syrup and put in peanut butter.

Blend on medium for 30 seconds or until smooth. (Bananas WITHOUT brown spots will float.)

Pour into cups and enjoy!
Using fat free items makes this super healthy and makes me feel less guilty about having something sweet. (They do make a sugar free chocolate syrup)

My kids love to pour and scoop; let your kids try. They will be more likely to eat it knowing they made it themselves.
