Stove Top Chicken Casserole

what you need
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 pkg. (from twin pack box) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken, divided
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, divided
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup, divided
make it
Boil whole chicken until done. Remove chicken from broth saving broth and cool completely. Debone chicken.
Put layer of chicken in 13x9x2 pan. Mix 1 pack stuffing mix with broth just to moisten and stir together. Pour stuffing over chicken. Then spread 1 can cream of mushroom soup over stuffing then spread 1 can of cream of chicken soup over cream of mushroom soup. Repeat layer of chicken, stuffing and soups.
Bake in 350°F oven for 1 hour or until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
This was given to me by a friend when I was 9 years old.
If need to double use 2 chickens, 2 twin boxes stuffing, 2 cans of each soup will need 2 (13x9x2) pans.
