Grandma Hedys Chicken Pot Pie

what you need
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup frozen green beans
  • 1/3 cup frozen green peas
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked cubed chicken
  • 1 can creamy soup
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts
make it
Put just enough water in the bottom of your pressure to cover the bottom. Put the tray in the bottom. Put in all veggies except the peas. Pressure cook (slowly rocking) for 5 min. Drain off the water.

Add the peas, chicken, and soup. Stir and pour into prepared deep pie tin. Put other crust on top, and cut a couple of small slits in the crust.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 45 min. If crust gets too brown too soon, lay a flat sheet of foil on top.
Do not add water or milk to your soup.
