Crock-Pot Lasagna

what you need
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can (28 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 container (16 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 box (12 oz.) no bake lasagna noodles
make it
Brown hamburger meat, drain. Mix in tomato sauce, tomato paste, onion, garlic & oregano. In separate bowl, mix mozzarella, cottage and parmesan cheese.

In well greased crock-pot layer meat, noodles, and cheese, meat noodles and cheese. Make sure to cover the top layer of noodles with PLENTY of cheese, otherwise the noodles will not fully cook.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Notes
I like to prepare the meat sauce and the cheese mixture the night before and store them in the refrigerator until morning. That way there isn't as much work to do the next morning.
