what you need
- 2 lb. meatloaf/meatball mix (ground beef, veal and pork)
- 1 egg
- 5 squirts ketchup
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 6 shakes Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 2 palmfulls Italian bread crumbs
- Lemon pepper or hamburger seasoning
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Put meat in large mixing bowl. Add egg, ketchup, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper (for seasoning) and bread crumbs. Use clean hands to mix together. May need to add more bread crumbs - as this is what holds meatloaf together.
Put in casserole dish and form loaf shape. Sprinkle the top with lemon pepper or hamburger seasoning.
Bake for about 55 minutes, or until cooked through.
Notes
If you can't find meatloaf mix, try a combo of ground pork and ground beef. The pork keeps the meatloaf moist.
Try serving with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with Miracle Whip Salad.
