Upside Down Cherry Cake

what you need
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces
make it
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread cake pan with pie filling and then do the same with pineapple. Dump the cake mix on top, breaking up lumps in cake mix first.

Then pour melted butter on top, making sure everything is nice and wet on top. Sprinkle pecan pieces on top.

Bake for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
It's great warm with vanilla ice cream and can use any flavor pie filling you wish.
