Pennsylvania Dutch Green Beans

what you need
  • 4 cups cut green beans
  • 2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1-1/2 tsp. sugar
  • Pepper
  • Bacon bits
make it
Cook green beans in water, drain.

In skillet saute onion, stir in vinegar, sugar and pepper.

Add green beans and bacon bits. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring often.
