Steve's Healthy Turkey Chili with Macaroni

what you need
- 1 cup uncooked whole wheat elbow macaroni
- 1 lb. ground turkey breast
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1-1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 can (16 oz.) dark red kidney beans, rinsed & drained
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) stewed tomatoes, chopped, drained
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 cup Kraft Shredded 2% Cheddar Cheese

Cook pasta as directed, drain.
Heat a Dutch oven over med-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add turkey, onion and next 5 ingredients, Cook until turkey is browned, stir to crumble.
Add cooked pasta, beans, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook 6 min or until heated through. Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
Notes
My husband loves this chili because it's not too spicy, yet is still tasty and satisfying. Also it's low in calories & fat. I serve with a simple cornbread.
